  • On the 8th Day of Christmas…

    “Exalt the LORD our God

and worship at his holy mountain,
for the LORD our God is holy.

    Psalm 99:9

Looking  east from the fire road
on the ridge between Laguna Beach and Saddleback Valley

A blanket of cold fog hid Laguna to the west

Friends from church gathering to pray.

Personal time for prayer and worship

Thank you Lord for Your marvelous creation:
    stone, mountains, sea and sky
birds singing and Indian Brush blooming

    And time for chatting too

*It was so warm on the ridge, a dry wind was blowing from the east,
it was lovely to drive down into the cool fog, returning home to find Spence and Bri
watching the Rose Parade on TV, a fire merrily burning in the fireplace.

*Coffee, lunch and a nap…I seem to be fighting a cold…then friends of Bri dropped by
and we had a nice visit. Best of all, Bri cooked a dinner tonight
and now she and Meagan are busy working on a new 1,000 piece puzzle.

Spence’s niece Cathy had this puzzle made for us,
from a picture I took this summer when she and Kelly were visiting.

  • So great!  The photos are lovely, and the fellowship looks so sweet.  I love the puzzle idea – wish I’d thought of it!
